Life and faith

1 week has passed so fast. Soon the holidays will be over and the pressure starts kicking in. Apart from that, the occurrences that happened yesterday gets me deep into thought. Faith and belief is a very complicated issue. Like what a writer once quote...you can't argue for and against a statement of faith. It is universally agreed that almost everyone has some form of belief in a creator or God, although there are some skeptics who believe otherwise such as Darwinism and the evolution of mankind from primates.
Other than that endless argument of who may or may not be right, the point that I want to discuss is the fact that faith and religion is needed in our lives. To me, it becomes the foundation of my strength, perseverance and determination. It is in religion that we find the peace of mind from all the confusion and hectic life of this world. It is also in that idea that our God is fully able and will help us in times of needs and desperation. Anything can happen even in the last second...reminding us that destiny is already in the hands of God and that we should never give up on Him, just as much as we hope that He does not give up on us.
However, this is where the true test would come.It would be really idealistic to claim all of what I said if all of our life's situation is simple, easy and full of happiness. It is clear that this is outrageously not true. It is in these difficulties and times of darkness that our faith is challenged. Sometimes, doing something which is right in the middle of all the wrongdoings around you sets a stage of a battle and dilemma within your heart. We are always confronted with the decision to do what it right...and what is easy. At this crossroads, we are challenged to the right thing with the hope that everything will turn out well in the end...even we are facing the toughest of adversities right now.
At the end of the day, everyone is reserved to their own opinions and arguments. To me however, it brought me back to the words uttered by my teacher yesterday...Life and faith never clashes with each other, it complements each other instead. It may be hard for me or you to see it now but the signs are there. It is clearly tough but this is the road we have no other choice but to endure through.Never give up on that hope..that faith that the good things you are doing will have its rewards in the future. It is the future, the endgame that matters. What matters isn't the present...as it will also turn into our past, a past we will soon forget...
